Royal fans were treated to a rare look at Christmas preparations at
Sandringham as Buckingham Palace released a festive photo of the estate adorned
with sparkling lights and holiday decorations.
The image, shared on December 21, was accompanied by a cheerful caption: “It’s
beginning to look a lot like Christmas.”
King Charles is set to reunite with key members of the royal family during the
Sandringham Walkabout, a cherished annual tradition, to celebrate the season
together.
This year’s gathering holds special significance for the monarch, who has
expressed excitement about spending time with his family, particularly his
grandchildren, after a challenging 2024 marked by his and Princess Kate’s
cancer diagnoses.
Royal expert Robert Jobson shared with OK!: “It’s a lovely chance to see his
grandchildren. He’ll be surrounded by those he cherishes most, enjoying the
chance to eat, drink, and be merry with them.”
