Royal couple to focus on individual commitments amid evolving schedules
Prince William and Princess Kate are expected to spend time apart in 2025 as
they take on separate royal responsibilities, with no plans yet for a joint
overseas tour.
Following Princess Kate’s completion of chemotherapy treatment, the Prince of
Wales is set to embark on a series of solo foreign visits in the coming
months. Royal commentator Rebecca English noted that this move signals
Catherine’s continued recovery while maintaining a measured approach to her
public engagements.
The couple last traveled abroad together in 2023, enjoying a private family
trip to the French ski resort of Méribel. However, this year’s focus appears
to be on their individual projects. Kate recently visited Tŷ Hafan after being
announced as the charity’s Patron, while Kensington Palace has reaffirmed her
commitment to early childhood development, a cause close to her heart.
While William prepares for diplomatic engagements outside the UK, Kate is
expected to remain in Europe as she prioritises her health and ongoing
initiatives.
