Royal Family Joins Queen in Marking Theatre Initiative for Young Creatives
Buckingham Palace has shared an exciting update on Queen Camilla as she marked
a significant milestone while continuing her signature green style during a
royal engagement at the Unicorn Theatre in London.
The 77-year-old royal, a patron of the Unicorn Theatre, attended the launch of
the Unicorn’s Creative Hub on Wednesday, an initiative designed to bring
children aged 8-13 together with theatre artists to help shape productions
tailored to young audiences.
“The Queen joined staff and creative associates to celebrate the launch of the
Unicorn’s Creative Hub,” the Palace confirmed in a statement.
The royal family joined in the celebration by sharing new photos of Queen
Camilla at the event, showcasing her elegant deep green skirt and jacket
ensemble. The Queen received widespread praise for her winter fashion choice,
featuring a wool jacket with refined lapels.
During the engagement, the newly appointed Creative Associates explored the
theatre’s latest production, Pig Heart Boy by Malorie Blackman, and discussed
the importance of creativity in childhood development.
The celebration comes ahead of another significant royal visit, as King
Charles and Queen Camilla are set to visit Centre Square on Thursday (February
13). This visit marks the first time a reigning monarch has traveled to
Middlesbrough since Queen Elizabeth II’s visit in 1993.
