Meghan Markle’s New Rosé Sees Drop in Alcohol Content After Sell-Out Launch

As Ever vintage still carries premium price despite lower ABV

Meghan Markle’s wine brand As Ever has released its 2024 Napa Valley Rosé with
one notable change — a lower alcohol content.

The Duchess of Sussex’s first vintage, launched on July 1, sold out within
hours and gained attention for its unusually high 14.5% ABV. The newly
released 2024 edition, however, contains 13.5% alcohol by volume.

Despite the drop, the price remains over £22 a bottle with a three-bottle
minimum. The brand says the wine still delivers “the same effortlessly elegant
notes” as before, although some fans told GB News it “packs less of a punch.”

While As Ever claims bottles are “going fast,” the new rosé was still
available two days after launch — a contrast to last year’s instant sell-out.
The 2023 edition’s higher ABV had set it apart from other celebrity rosés,
including Kylie Minogue’s (11%), Post Malone’s (12%), and Brad Pitt’s Miraval
(12.5%).
