Duchess of Sussex channels a style made famous by the Princess of Wales in new trailer
Meghan Markle has drawn attention for her latest style choice in the trailer for season two of her Netflix lifestyle series With Love, wearing a burgundy version of Sézane’s ribbed ‘Sami’ jumper — the same design Catherine wore in cream during a 2023 university visit.
The French knit, with raglan shoulders and five gold buttons running from wrist to forearm, became a highlight of Catherine’s wardrobe when paired with a matching midi skirt for a monochrome look, complete with pearl Simone Rocha earrings and Gianvito Rossi pumps. Meghan’s £155 take on the jumper, more than £40 above the price of Catherine’s original version, has already sold out in most sizes online.
Her on-screen wardrobe blends elegance with statement luxury. In the new season, she appears in two Carolina Herrera dresses — a floral belted midi priced at around £1,838 and a striped shirtdress just under £600 — as well as a £214 Veronica Beard striped midi dress paired with a Jessica McCormack diamond and gold pendant necklace worth £8,800.
In the first season, Meghan mixed high-end and accessible pieces, from a £291 Jenni Kayne cashmere jumper layered over a £978 Loro Piana knit with Zara trousers, to full luxury looks like a £790 Zimmermann set, £538 Saint Laurent sandals, and jewellery exceeding £7,900 in value. Her latest looks suggest that season two will continue that blend of polished glamour and statement style.
