TV legend enjoys new adventure after poking fun at Harry and Meghan’s
surname
Oprah Winfrey has wowed fans with her striking weight loss as she enjoyed a
truffle-hunting trip in Umbria, Italy.
The 71-year-old television icon looked relaxed and stylish in a crisp white
shirt, khaki trousers and white trainers as she joined expert hunters and
their specially trained dogs in search of the rare delicacy. Sharing photos
from the outing, Oprah revealed her late friend Tina Turner had been the one
to introduce her to the world of truffles.
Her noticeably slimmer appearance comes after she revealed she has shed nearly
50 pounds with the help of the weight-loss drug Ozempic.
The lighthearted outing follows comments Oprah made about her Montecito
neighbours, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. Appearing on Kelly Ripa’s Let’s
Talk Off Camera podcast, she jokingly stretched out the pronunciation of their
surname, referring to them as the “Sussexesssses” while recalling a story
about receiving baby chicks as a gift.
Despite the playful remark, Oprah has long been close to the couple. She
attended their 2018 wedding and later conducted their landmark 2021 interview,
in which they spoke candidly about stepping away from royal duties.
