life
James Middleton has given fans a heartfelt glimpse into his life with wife
Alizée Thevenet, sharing how running has become both a passion and a way to
keep their marriage grounded.
Posting from a scenic Alpine trip, the younger brother of Princess Catherine
revealed that running has been central to their relationship ever since they
first met. “Ever since we met, Alizée and I have been running side by side,”
he wrote.
He admitted the sport has even helped smooth over the occasional disagreement.
“If we ever argue, running is our way of clearing the air — partly because
neither of us can talk while we do it,” he joked.
James went on to say their runs now often involve chasing after their
10-month-old son, Inigo, but described the Alpine outing as “the most
beautiful yet.” He also shared a video of Alizée jogging against the
breathtaking mountain backdrop.
Fitness has long been a key part of the couple’s life. They have completed
marathons together, and James regularly documents their training and
adventures outdoors. Since becoming a father last year, he has described
family life as “life-changing” and often posts about the joy of spending time
outside with Alizée, Inigo, and their dogs.
James has also spoken openly about his past struggles with depression,
crediting exercise, time in nature, and the companionship of his dogs as vital
