Duchess praised by Michelin star chef Clare Smyth for impressive kitchen
skills
Meghan Markle is gearing up for the release of the second season of With Love,
Meghan, which drops on Netflix on August 26. The Duchess confirmed the news
herself on Instagram, teasing not only the return of the show but also new
projects already in development.
One of the highlights of the upcoming season will be Meghan’s collaboration
with acclaimed British chef Clare Smyth, who holds three Michelin stars. After
months of struggling to book big-name guests, the Duchess managed to secure
the celebrated chef for an episode that shines a light on her lesser-known
culinary talent.
Smyth revealed that she taught Meghan how to prepare a “very healthy poached
halibut with seasonal vegetables and bone broth.” She also praised the
Duchess’s impressive knife skills, noting that Meghan quickly adapted to the
fine-dining techniques she was shown.
“The idea was to teach Meghan how to do fine dining and what goes into that,
rather than just something you can make at home,” Smyth told The Times. The
two even visited a fish market to choose fresh halibut before picking
vegetables and herbs from the Sussexes’ garden in Montecito.
This season’s guest lineup also includes Meghan’s close friend Chrissy Teigen,
Pilates instructor Heather Dorak, and longtime makeup artist Daniel Martin.
Meanwhile, Prince Harry is reportedly working on launching a new charity with
Prince Seeiso of Lesotho, which some royal watchers see as an effort to rival
Sentebale, the organisation he co-founded but later parted ways with.
