The Duchess of Sussex continues to push forward despite criticism
Meghan Markle is showing no signs of slowing down as she remains determined to
carve out her own success, even in the face of constant criticism. Now,
speculation is growing that she may have a future collaboration with Kim
Kardashian.
A PR expert has suggested that if Meghan and Kim joined forces, it could spark
a media storm that would benefit both women. The talk comes after Meghan’s
lifestyle brand, As Ever, sent gifts to the Kardashian family shortly after
the launch of her second wine earlier this month.
Brand and culture expert Nick Ede believes a partnership could make business
sense, but he emphasised that Meghan first needs to solidify her own brand.
Speaking to The Express, he said: “I think first of all, Meghan needs to
establish As Ever as a proper brand before she collaborates with someone like
Kim. However, if Kim is looking for a model for a Skims collection, Meghan
would be the perfect person for the job.”
He added that working together could give both brands huge visibility: “This
would leverage both brands and create a media frenzy and increase sales, plus
it will give Meghan credibility as a brand ambassador if the shoot is as good
as the previous campaigns.”
The Duchess of Sussex has reportedly grown closer to Kim’s mother, Kris
Jenner, who personally thanked her for the thoughtful gift. Even so, Harry is
said to remain cautious. While he supports Meghan’s ambitions, he is also
deeply focused on their children’s future and believes their roots should stay
tied to the UK, where he holds cherished childhood memories.
