Prince William and Catherine Launch New Farming Project After Meghan’s Netflix Release

Prince and Princess of Wales spotlight sustainable agriculture as Meghan
Markle celebrates milestone

Prince William and Catherine are moving forward with their royal initiatives
just as Meghan Markle marked a major milestone with season two of her Netflix
series With Love, Meghan.

On Monday, August 26, the Prince and Princess of Wales used their official
Kensington Palace Instagram account to unveil an update on one of their key
projects under the Duchy of Cornwall. The initiative, called Focus Farms,
highlights efforts to make farming more sustainable across the 130,000-acre
estate.

“The Duchy of Cornwall has identified seven Focus Farms across its 130,000
acre estate leading the way in testing and showcasing sustainable farming on
the journey to net zero,” the post explained.

According to the announcement, the farms will share knowledge, collaborate,
and discuss both successes and challenges as they work to create a model for
regenerative agriculture that others can follow.

Though William and Catherine are currently in Balmoral with King Charles and
the wider royal family, their work has not slowed down. The timing of the
update also drew attention, arriving just one day after Meghan released the
second season of her Netflix series.
