Duchess designs customised keepsake as Royal Family’s silence on her own
birthday lingers
Meghan Markle went the extra mile to make Harry’s 40th birthday special,
putting love and thought into a personal gift that the Duke proudly shared
with friends.
In her Netflix series With Love, Meghan, the Duchess revealed a customised
black baseball cap embroidered with the words “PH 40.” She explained, “Now we
get into the things that bring me joy. I made these for my husband’s 40th
birthday for him and his friends.”
Harry celebrated the milestone on September 15, 2024, and the cap quickly
became a symbol of Meghan’s thoughtful gesture. With his 41st birthday only
weeks away, royal watchers are already curious about what surprise she might
plan this year.
At the same time, attention has turned to whether King Charles and the wider
Royal Family will publicly acknowledge Harry’s upcoming birthday. They did so
last year but have not always been consistent in their gestures.
By contrast, Meghan herself was overlooked on her own birthday. The last time
the Royal Family offered her public wishes was in 2021, when she turned 40.
