The King’s private home shares new details for next year’s seasonal events
Highgrove, the private estate of King Charles, has outlined its plans for Christmas 2025 and is inviting the public to take part in a series of festive events on the property.
The estate’s website, under Christmas Events at Highgrove 2025, encourages visitors to enjoy a day filled with seasonal food, shopping and celebrations. Guests are invited to spend time in the Orchard Room and other spaces across the estate, which the announcement says are designed to lift the Christmas mood.
The site notes that visitors can stop for a meal in the Orchard Room or browse a range of gifts at the Highgrove Christmas Shop, which includes homeware, food, drink and artwork by the King. The events run through 21 December.
Highgrove’s gardens and educational programmes are overseen by The King’s Foundation, the charity created by King Charles when he was Prince of Wales.
A separate listing promotes Christmas Lunch at Highgrove 2025, available until 20 December. The Orchard Room Restaurant will serve two or three course lunches, with prices starting at £49.80. Garden tours will not be offered because the grounds are closed for winter.
These announcements arrive as speculation grows over whether Prince William will miss the King’s private Christmas lunch, a discussion that has resurfaced amid the ongoing fallout after Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor was stripped of his last remaining titles due to his links with Jeffrey Epstein.
The private lunch that has been making headlines will not take place at Highgrove.
