Princess of Wales issues reflective message after quiet charity visit as
royal rift rumours resurface
Catherine has shared a thoughtful message about remembrance and connection
following a private visit to the Ever After Garden, as reports continue to
swirl about strained relations with Queen Camilla.
Kensington Palace posted the message on Instagram after the Princess of Wales
spent time at the garden, which raises funds for The Royal Marsden Cancer
Charity. In her words, Catherine thanked those involved for their
contributions, describing the space as one where “every flower, every light,
is a memory held together” and a symbol of “shared love, remembrance, and
hope”.
The charity also marked the visit by sharing photographs and confirming that
Catherine planted a dedication during her time there. She met volunteers and
staff to personally thank them for their efforts in bringing the project to
life.
In a follow-up message, the organisation noted that the festive season can be
bittersweet for many, adding that the Princess’s visit was a reminder of the
importance of pausing to reflect and remember loved ones who have been lost.
All proceeds from the Ever After Garden support The Royal Marsden, where
Catherine serves as Joint Patron alongside William.
Her message comes against the backdrop of fresh claims of unease within the
royal household. Reports suggest that Catherine and Queen Camilla are not
seeing eye to eye following a recent attempt by Camilla to encourage
reconciliation between Harry and King Charles. According to OK!, the move has
led to renewed tension, with questions reportedly raised about Catherine’s
judgement.
