Catherine and Prince William’s 2026 plans revealed

The Prince and Princess of Wales are set to spotlight British talent and issue their own royal warrants from spring 2026

As Princess of Wales, Catherine has been steadily returning to public duties following her cancer treatment, taking on more engagements as her health continues to improve. With that return underway, royal insiders have now shared fresh details about what lies ahead for Catherine and Prince William in 2026.

According to a report in The Telegraph, the couple plan to dedicate next year to celebrating “the best of Britain”. Insiders say there will be a clear focus on British businesses, skills, and creativity, as well as overlooked community heroes, with at least one monthly engagement centred on this theme.

A palace aide said the Prince and Princess of Wales see it as vital to highlight people and organisations that often go unnoticed, adding that showcasing home-grown talent across the UK will be a major priority in 2026.

This initiative is expected to run alongside William’s Homewards programme to address homelessness, his Earthshot Prize, and Catherine’s work through the Centre for Early Childhood.

The report also says the Prince and Princess of Wales are likely to begin issuing their own royal warrants from spring 2026. These warrants, already granted by the King and Queen in the new reign, are a long-standing way senior royals support British businesses by endorsing the goods and services they personally use.
