Andrew Rejects King Charles’ Major Offer as He Plans Life Outside Britain

Formal notice served to surrender Royal Lodge lease amid reports of Middle East move

A royal commentator claims Andrew has turned down a significant offer from King Charles and is now actively preparing to leave the UK.

Writing on Substack, royal expert Rob Shuter says sources insist Andrew rejected a proposed new home around three hours outside London, making it clear that staying anywhere in Britain is off the table.

According to insiders, Andrew believes remaining in the UK would keep him under constant scrutiny, regardless of distance from the capital. One source said he was offered a comfortable property outside London but refused outright, adding that even a move several hours away would still feel restrictive.

Those close to Andrew say he feels watched and boxed in, and wants a clean break from palace life. As a result, he is reportedly looking to relocate to the Middle East, where he believes his former status still holds influence.

The claims come as King Charles is said to have begun a formal process to remove Andrew’s remaining styles, titles and honours. A formal notice has also been served requiring him to surrender the lease on Royal Lodge.

The situation has reportedly unsettled those close to Andrew, including his daughters, who are said to be aware of his determination to put as much distance as possible between himself and royal life.
