Animated holiday greetings set the stage for the monarch’s historic
speech.
King Charles spread festive cheer with a delightful Christmas message shared
through the royal family’s social media channels on December 25.
The animated video featured charming holiday scenes of snow, Santa Claus, and
reindeer, accompanied by a warm message from the monarch: “Wishing you a very
Merry Christmas!”
Royal fans eagerly anticipate the King’s pre-recorded Christmas Broadcast, set
to be released within hours. This year’s speech, marking a historic moment,
was filmed in the Fitzrovia Chapel in London rather than a traditional royal
residence.
The Fitzrovia Chapel, a former part of Middlesex Hospital, was chosen for its
serene atmosphere. A statement from the King’s office described it as “a space
for quiet reflection, discovery and celebration, connecting diverse
communities from all faiths or none.”
The heartfelt greetings and the unique setting for the speech highlight King
Charles’ effort to blend tradition with modern touches, bringing a unifying
message to the festive season.
