As Charles and Camilla embark on their two-day trip to the Holy See, where they are meeting Pope Leo XIV at the Vatican, the Prince and Princess of Wales are spending time with their children before settling into their new home at Forest Lodge. Yet even during this brief family break, Catherine is reportedly focused on fulfilling a wish close to the King’s heart: restoring harmony within the royal family.
Often seen as the family’s peacemaker, Catherine has been quietly encouraging her husband to take the first step toward reconciling with his brother. Sources claim the Princess has made an emotional appeal to William, reminding him how much their mother would have wanted them to make peace.
“Kate often tells him that their mother would be devastated to see them like this,” an insider told RadarOnline. “She keeps urging him to rise above it and take the first step.”
King Charles, who recently met his younger son Harry for the first time in nearly two years at Clarence House, reportedly longs for the same reconciliation between his sons. “The King just wants peace,” the insider added. “He dreams of the day his sons can be in the same room without tension.”
