Princess of Wales Quips, “I Seem to Have Lost My Family,” During Christmas
Walk
During the royal family’s festive outing at Sandringham, Catherine, the
Princess of Wales, amused onlookers with a lighthearted remark after
momentarily being left behind by Prince William and their children.
As the family participated in the traditional Christmas Day walk following the
service at St. Mary Magdalene Church, Catherine was busy engaging warmly with
well-wishers. Meanwhile, Prince William, accompanied by George, Charlotte, and
Louis, had unknowingly moved ahead without her.
Realising she was alone, Catherine joked to fans, “I seem to have lost my
family,” drawing smiles and laughter from the crowd.
Images from the event show the children happily chatting with their father
while Catherine continued her interactions. Six-year-old Louis, in particular,
stole the spotlight, delighting fans as he excitedly received an array of
gifts from the public.
The Princess’s charming and relatable moment added a touch of humour to the
royal family’s Christmas celebrations, reflecting her ability to connect with
admirers while gracefully navigating unexpected situations.
