Inside Prince Harry Talk with Meghan About Their Children’s UK Roots

Expert says a return to Britain is unlikely but not impossible

A new take on Harry and Meghan Markle’s future in Britain suggests the door is not fully closed, even if a permanent move seems far from certain. Public relations specialist Lynn Carratt from E20 Communications told Express UK that Harry’s recent comments about reconnecting with his roots show he is keeping possibilities open, despite Meghan’s reported reluctance.

Carratt said that while a comeback is not guaranteed, it also should not be dismissed. She noted that Meghan’s past experience in Britain makes a full-time return improbable, since her life and career are now firmly centred in the United States.

Rumours online have only fuelled speculation, and Harry has not stepped in to quiet them. Carratt believes that this silence hints at flexibility rather than firm plans. In her view, his remarks sound less like someone completely settled abroad and more like someone allowing space for change in the years ahead.

Harry has often spoken about wanting his children to understand the country where he grew up and to appreciate their heritage. Carratt added that modern families sometimes divide their time between countries for work and personal reasons, and the couple has always approached life on their own terms.

According to her, this makes a future shift possible, even if nothing points to an immediate move.
