Palace releases fresh videos and photos as the Princess of Wales steps up
her work
Catherine returned to public duties on Tuesday, 18 November, as she joined
leading London businesses and community figures at the Future Workforce
Summit. The event, hosted by The Royal Foundation Business Taskforce for Early
Childhood, marked the latest step in her long-term mission to support children
in their early years.
Kensington Palace released new videos and images of the Princess at the
summit, alongside a statement outlining her continued focus. The Palace
highlighted her message on the Prince and Princess of Wales’s official
Instagram account, where she said, “We believe that we must do all we can to
create the conditions for love to flourish. That is how we invest in our
future.” The post went on to note that the day showcased how businesses can
play a vital part in early childhood.
According to the Palace, the aim remains clear: to help the next generation
develop the human skills needed to thrive as technology reshapes the world.
That work, they stressed, begins in the earliest years of life.
The new update followed a video message in which Catherine addressed more than
80 senior business leaders from across the United Kingdom, encouraging
long-term investment in early childhood. Attendees reaffirmed their commitment
to the Business Taskforce, which first launched in 2023.
During the summit, Catherine encouraged employers to recognise the needs of
parents and caregivers of children under five, noting that strong support
systems benefit both families and society. She wore a tailored grey trouser
suit for the engagement as she met leaders and heard from specialists in early
childhood development.
