Kensington Palace Shares Video of William’s Visit After King Charles Announcement

The Palace highlights William’s ongoing commitment to public service
following news of the King and Queen’s upcoming State Visit.

Kensington Palace has released a new video showing William during a visit to
the London Ambulance Service’s Waterloo headquarters, accompanied by a
statement celebrating his dedication to public service.

The clip, shared on the official Instagram account of the Prince and Princess
of Wales, marks 60 years of the London Ambulance Service, the largest in the
UK. The statement read: “From responding to emergencies, to helping people
find the care they need over the phone, these incredible key workers save
lives every single day – all while driving innovation in healthcare, including
the world’s first purpose-built all-electric ambulance.” It added that it was
“a privilege to go behind the scenes and see their vital work up close.”

William, who became Patron of the College of Paramedics earlier this year, has
long been connected with emergency responders. His experience as an Air
Ambulance and RAF Search and Rescue pilot has given him a deep understanding
of the challenges faced by those working on the front lines.

The post came just hours after Buckingham Palace confirmed that King Charles
and Queen Camilla will undertake a State Visit to the Holy See from 22 to 23
October 2025.
