Beatrice during the Lionesses’ celebratory return to London—an event some

After England’s dramatic Euro 2025 victory over Spain, the Football
Association had reportedly hoped for a royal welcome at Buckingham Palace as
the team made their way down The Mall. Instead, no senior royal was on hand to
mark the occasion, leaving a noticeable void.
According to the Daily Mail, the daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson
was “treated like a bystander” during the public festivities. With Prince
William returning to holiday following the final, and both King Charles and
Princess Anne in Scotland, no working royal was present to greet the team.
Other senior royals were also said to be “unavailable.”
Princess Beatrice—who does not hold an official working royal title—was left
to watch the celebrations from the sidelines, mingling with the crowd
alongside her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi and their children.
