Buckingham Palace has released a new video showing King Charles III and Queen
Camilla overseeing final preparations to welcome their American guest at
Windsor Castle.

The footage, posted on the royal family’s official Instagram account on
Monday, September 15, shows the couple taking part in arrangements on the eve
of the state visit by Donald Trump and Melania Trump. This will be the first
time the US president has met the King since he ascended the throne.

In the clip, shared on the day of Prince Harry’s 41st birthday, the royal pair
expressed their excitement about the upcoming visit. The post was captioned:

“From extensive outdoor spaces to each inner floral display around the Castle,
the Royal Gardening Team grow and forage the most beautiful plants across the
grounds to bring the seasonal outdoors into a State Visit. Watch how the team
prepare for the events. Head to The Royal Family on YouTube for the full
film.”

The warm update from the Palace came just a day after Harry’s interview with
The Guardian, where he addressed past claims from his memoir Spare involving
senior royals, including King Charles, Queen Camilla, Prince William and
Catherine, Princess of Wales.

“I don’t believe that I aired my dirty laundry in public. It was a difficult
message, but I did it in the best way possible. My conscience is clear,” Harry
said.

His comments sparked fresh debate as he continues efforts to mend ties with
the family. Harry recently reunited with his father at Clarence House in
London on September 10, marking their first face-to-face conversation in
nearly two years.

According to Good Morning Britain, when asked how the King was doing, Harry
simply replied, “Great. Thank you.”
