Former staff claims cast shadow over Duchess’s upcoming cooking show
release.
Meghan Markle has been hit with fresh setbacks as troubling allegations from
former employees surface ahead of her highly anticipated Netflix cooking show,
With Love, Meghan.
According to Vanity Fair, ex-staff members who worked on the Duchess of
Sussex’s podcast described their experiences as deeply challenging, with some
claiming they needed “long-term therapy” afterward.
One former employee detailed the difficulties of working under Meghan, saying,
“You don’t tell the couple no. I left because I couldn’t live with myself
anymore.” Another insider criticised Meghan’s management style as
“undermining,” adding, “It’s talking behind your back. It’s gnawing at your
sense of self. Really, like, Mean Girls-teenager.”
The mother of Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet has been eagerly awaiting the
release of her Netflix series, which was delayed due to the Los Angeles fires.
However, the recent backlash has raised concerns that the allegations could
jeopardise the success of the project, slated to premiere in March.
Despite the challenges, With Love, Meghan remains a significant venture in
Meghan’s post-royal career. Whether the controversy will affect the reception
of the show remains to be seen.
