Duchess sparks laughter with lighthearted quip to Chrissy Teigen
Meghan Markle surprised viewers in Season 2 of With Love, Meghan when she
jokingly referred to a “secret third baby” during a playful exchange with
Chrissy Teigen.
The Duchess, who shares two children with Harry, was working alongside Chrissy
in the kitchen and garden while making jewellery with dried flowers for their
children. At one point, Meghan mistakenly called the Hawthorn flower
“Honsworth,” prompting Chrissy to stop and ask whether Meghan had a child she
hadn’t mentioned.
“I was like, ‘You have a kid named Honsworth?’” Chrissy recalled, laughing.
Meghan quickly responded with a grin, “My child you’ve never heard of,” before
adding, “If I could’ve kept a secret like that, impressive.”
A crew member eventually stepped in to clarify the flower’s real name,
confirming it was Hawthorn.
The playful moment comes after months of speculation online about Meghan
allegedly hiding a secret daughter from a supposed earlier marriage—claims
that have never been substantiated.
Harry has previously addressed the couple’s family plans, saying he feels one
or two children are enough. “I know some people who’ve got five,” he joked in
a past interview. “I just say, ‘Well, that’s your own fault!’”
Despite ruling out a big family, Harry has spoken warmly about fatherhood,
describing it as “a journey every single day.” He often highlights how much he
enjoys the curiosity, questions, and challenges their children bring.
