Duchess quietly thrives with new ventures as she distances herself from royal drama
Meghan Markle appears to have found her footing again—this time by returning to the lifestyle space she once embraced long before becoming the Duchess of Sussex. According to royal expert Jennie Bond, Meghan is carving out a rewarding and surprisingly lucrative path in a field she knows well.
Her lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard, is steadily building a name for itself, with a new vintage of her signature rosé wine set to launch next week. The announcement has already generated buzz among fans, many of whom are predicting another rapid sell-out.
“After quite a blitz of Instagram messages and posts, Meghan has been rather quiet lately,” Bond told The Mirror. “That could be because the children are now home from school, or that she is between projects. But she has just released a promotional message for her next batch of rosé wine, which will be available to buy from next week.”
While Meghan’s business ventures are showing promise, uncertainty still lingers around her Netflix deal, and relations with the Royal Family remain strained. Despite whispers of reconciliation, insiders suggest that two senior royals remain unwilling to forgive Prince Harry—further complicating any future royal ties.
Even so, Meghan appears unfazed. Bond believes she’s successfully built her own digital space—free from palace protocols—where she can flourish on her own terms. “Whatever she does or says gets slammed in the media, but she has built up a substantial social media following in a very short time,” Bond noted. “The products she endorses or sells seem to perform exceptionally well.”
Though her TV and podcast work may not break new ground, they resonate with her loyal audience—and that, according to Bond, is more than enough.
“I think Meghan deserves to be pretty happy with how this year has gone so far,” she said.
With her lifestyle brand expanding and her focus shifting toward creative independence, Meghan Markle seems to be rediscovering the version of herself that existed before the royal spotlight—only now, on a much grander stage.
