Duchess expresses concerns over palace strategy as Duke focuses on reunion
with his father
Meghan Markle has reportedly voiced unease over King Charles’ approach to
reconciling with Harry, fearing the palace may be trying to distance her from
her husband.
Harry met his father at Clarence House on September 10, shortly after
expressing publicly that he wanted to repair family ties. The meeting was
viewed as a positive step, but it has left Meghan uneasy. According to Heat
World, she worries the palace could use “divide-and-conquer tactics” to pull
Harry back into the royal fold.
A source explained that Harry is still “buzzing” from the meeting, while
Meghan supports him but remains cautious. “It hasn’t helped that Harry has
basically just thrown himself at their feet,” the insider added.
Harry is said to feel “homesick” and focused on the positive outcome of his
talk with the King, but this shift in attention is troubling for Meghan. The
Duchess fears she may be “losing” him to life in Britain after years of
building their life in California.
Soon after the father-son reunion, Meghan appeared to send a pointed message.
On Harry’s 51st birthday, she shared a celebratory post on Instagram that
sources described as “very deliberate.” The gesture was reportedly meant to
remind him that his “real home” is with her and their children in the United
States.
“She won’t lose him that easily,” the source said, suggesting Meghan’s move
was designed to reinforce her place in Harry’s life as reconciliation talks
continue.
How King Charles and Harry move forward remains to be seen, but Meghan’s role
