Meghan Markle Shares Subtle Message After Rift With Former Ally

Duchess posts cryptic note while celebrating new career milestone

Meghan Markle has sparked speculation with a cryptic social media post, just
days after losing the support of a once-loyal ally.

The Duchess of Sussex, who stepped away from royal life in 2020 alongside her
husband Harry, has been focused on building her brand, starting with her
lifestyle venture, As Ever. While she has faced her share of critics, Meghan
has also enjoyed a strong circle of supporters—though that loyalty recently
showed cracks.

Former Vanderpump Rules star Stassi Schroeder, once a vocal defender of
Meghan, unfollowed her on Instagram and criticised her on her podcast after
reportedly being left off a PR list. “I have literally defended her when no
one else did,” Stassi said. “I’ve filmed videos, I’ve commented, I literally
had my PR reach out.”

In what many interpreted as a response, Meghan’s brand account posted
handwritten lyrics from Jewel Akens’ 1965 song The Birds and the Bees:

“Let me tell you ’bout the birds and the bees and the flowers and the trees
and the moon up above…”

The post was captioned simply: “…and a little thing called love.” The message
suggested the Duchess was unfazed by the fallout.

Amid the drama, Meghan also had something to celebrate. Her new podcast,
Confessions of a Female Founder, produced with Lemonada Media, was nominated
for the 4th Annual Signal Awards in the Business & Culture category.
