Online rumours unravel as false claims resurface
Meghan Markle has no personal link to Andrew Mountbatten Windsor beyond the fact that he is Harry’s uncle. Andrew, who lost his royal titles after scrutiny over his association with the late Jeffrey Epstein, was also asked by King Charles III to leave Royal Lodge.
After Andrew’s fall from favour, conspiracy theories quickly spread online. Some posts claimed there were compromising photographs of him with Meghan. Others recycled an old narrative that targeted Meghan with baseless allegations about her past.
Images circulated online appeared to show Meghan on a yacht with Andrew, but credible reporting confirms the woman in the 2010 photographs was model Alexandra Escat. Meghan was not involved and has never holidayed with Andrew. Her only connection to him is through her marriage to Harry.
Meghan now lives in California with Harry and their children. The family settled in the United States after stepping back from their roles as working members of the royal household.
