Prince Harry Warned Over Diana Project That Could End His Bond with William

Duke of Sussex faces backlash over rumored Netflix plan ahead of UK visit

Prince Harry has been cautioned that his next move could permanently damage his already fragile relationship with Prince William.

Reports claim that Harry and Meghan Markle may be planning a Netflix documentary about Princess Diana, who tragically died in 1997. An insider told The Sun that if Harry pursues the idea, the streaming giant would “bite his hand off.”

But the prospect has sparked strong warnings from royal commentators. Expert Samara Gill called the idea a “potential disaster,” saying Diana’s story is “incredibly sensitive” and accusing the Sussexes of being likely to “butcher it with their own lens.” She added that such a project could be the “final nail in the coffin” for William.

PR specialist Nick Ede echoed the concern, pointing out that the brothers once made a pact to keep their mother’s memory “safe and sacred.” If Harry goes ahead, he said, William may see it as both a betrayal and an attempt to profit from her legacy.

These warnings arrive just as Harry prepares to return to the UK for the WellChild Awards, a trip that was already expected to test royal family tensions.
