Future monarchs praised for securing Prince George’s educational and royal
path
As rumours of King Charles’s potential abdication gain momentum, Prince
William and Princess Kate have been commended for making a strategic decision
to ensure the stability of their family and the future of the monarchy.
The Prince and Princess of Wales have reportedly finalised plans for their
eldest son, Prince George, as he progresses through his education. Currently
studying at Lambrook School alongside his siblings, Princess Charlotte and
Prince Louis, George will remain there until the age of 13.
Speculation about George’s future schooling has been put to rest with reports
suggesting he may attend Wellington College, a co-educational institution just
30 minutes from Windsor. Royal expert Jennie Bond told OK! magazine, “It’s
only half an hour from Windsor; the pupils can board (full-time or weekly) or
be day students. And a huge plus—it’s co-educational, which means all three
could go there in the future. Sounds ideal to me!”
The expert applauded William and Catherine’s decision to keep their children
together during their early school years, a choice that has proven to be a
source of stability during a challenging 2024 marked by King Charles’s health
battles.
“I always thought it was a wise decision to keep the children together during
their early school years, and I think that has very much proved to be the
case, especially during this past difficult year,” Bond noted.
She also suggested that George, Charlotte, and Louis likely found comfort in
being together at school while their home life was marked by uncertainty due
to their grandfather’s cancer treatment.
Amid growing speculation that the Palace is preparing William and Catherine to
assume greater responsibilities, this decision highlights their focus on
balancing royal duties with family priorities. By securing Prince George’s
educational path and ensuring family stability, the Waleses are setting a
strong foundation for the monarchy’s future.
