Prince of Wales shares emotional message during visit to Wales
Just as King Charles and Prince Harry reunited in London after nearly two
years apart, Prince William quietly broke his silence from Cardiff.
On the evening of Wednesday, September 10, the official Instagram account of
the Prince and Princess of Wales, run by Kensington Palace, shared a heartfelt
video of William’s visit to a newly launched mental health hub at Principality
Stadium. The hub was created through a partnership between the Royal
Foundation, the Jac Lewis Foundation, and the Welsh Rugby Union.
“Incredibly moving to hear Jac Lewis’ story and see how his family and
teammates turned grief into action, creating vital health support across
communities in Wales,” the caption read. “Grateful to everyone whose courage
and compassion drive this work, and proud to see The Royal Foundation’s
Community Impact Programme helping transform loss into hope.”
The post appeared less than an hour after King Charles welcomed Harry for
private tea at Clarence House. Harry was seen arriving around 5:20 p.m. after
spending the day in London for several public engagements during the third day
of his UK visit.
William, meanwhile, had travelled to Cardiff earlier that morning, meaning he
was not present for the long-awaited reunion between his father and younger
brother.
