The York sisters join the Royal Family at Sandringham as their parents remain absent
Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie joined the Royal Family for the annual Christmas walk at Sandringham, presenting a clear show of unity with King Charles III while their parents stayed away.
Their appearance followed days of speculation that one of the sisters might skip the event due to a planned ski trip with friends. In the end, both were present, choosing to walk with the wider family rather than remain at Royal Lodge with their parents, Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson.

For the festive outing, one daughter wore a burgundy plaid dress as she walked alongside her husband Jack Brooksbank, while the other opted for a long coat and walked with her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.
Andrew and Sarah were reportedly not invited to this yearโs Christmas celebrations following renewed attention on Andrewโs past links to Jeffrey Epstein.
At the front of the procession, the King and Queen Camilla led the family to St Mary Magdalene Church for the traditional service. They were joined by the Prince of Wales and Catherine, the Princess Royal with her husband Timothy Laurence, as well as Zara Tindall and her husband Mike Tindall.
After the service, the family stopped to greet well-wishers gathered outside the church. The Wales children were given small gifts, with two of them later seen clutching new toys as the family continued their walk.
