a year-long battle with cancer.

During a visit to The Royal Marsden Hospital, Catherine expressed heartfelt
thanks to the medical staff who cared for her during her treatment in 2024.

In a personal note shared on her official social media, she wrote, “I wanted
to take the opportunity to say thank you to The Royal Marsden for looking
after me so well during the past year.” She added, “My heartfelt thanks go to
all those who have quietly walked alongside William and me as we have
navigated everything.”

The Princess praised the “exceptional care and advice” she and her family
received, describing it as invaluable during her journey to recovery.

Catherine also announced her new role as Joint Patron of The Royal Marsden,
reaffirming her commitment to advancing cancer research and supporting
patients and their families. “By supporting groundbreaking research and
clinical excellence, as well as promoting patient and family wellbeing, we
might save many more lives and transform the experience of all those impacted
by cancer,” she stated.

She concluded her message with hope and gratitude, saying, “As anyone who has
experienced a cancer diagnosis will know, it takes time to adjust to a new
normal. I am, however, looking forward to a fulfilling year ahead. There is
much to look forward to. Thank you to everyone for your continued support. C.”

looks ahead to a promising year, embracing her role in cancer advocacy and
