King Charles’ office has released an update on Queen Camilla shortly after she
admitted to a “terrible” wasp problem at her private home in Sandringham.
On August 22, the royal family’s official account posted a series of photos
from her visit to the Ebor Festival in York. The statement read, “The Queen,
Patron of @YorkRaces, attended the second day of the Ebor Festival yesterday.
Her Majesty met representatives from local charities, including volunteers
from top-up food support charity, @TheCollectiveSharehouse.”
The post followed Camilla’s candid conversation at the same event with Harry
and Seline Silk of Knavesmire Nectar. She revealed that her bees had been
plagued by wasps, describing the ongoing ordeal as “terrible.”
“My bees keep swarming. They’ve been terrible,” she admitted.
