Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, shared a joyful update with her followers
this weekend, celebrating a meaningful cultural moment amid ongoing headlines
involving her former husband, Prince Andrew.
Taking to Instagram on Saturday, August 2, the 65-year-old Duchess posted a
warm video message expressing her delight at hosting a special group of
international creatives in the UK. The event was part of the “Passport to AIP”
week—a program under Artists in Presence (AIP) that fosters global artistic
collaboration and cultural exchange.
“A wonderful afternoon welcoming such a brilliant group of creators to
Britain,” she wrote. “It was a joy to share tea, conversation, and a special
gift—my novel Her Heart for a Compass—with them all. I’m so pleased they’re
taking a piece of my heart home with them.”
The celebration comes as the Duchess continues to expand her creative
pursuits. Having already announced the upcoming release of her second Flora
and Fern picture book with New Frontier Publishing, Sarah remains active in
both the literary and charitable spheres.
A proud mother to their daughters, the Duchess is also embracing her role as
grandmother to four young grandchildren—August and Ernest Brooksbank, Sienna
and Athena Mapelli Mozzi—and step-grandmother to Beatrice’s stepson,
Christopher Woolf.
In a surprising career twist, Ferguson recently revealed plans to launch her
own eco-friendly nappy line—an initiative inspired by her growing family and
