Karan Johar is set to host Prince William’s 2026 Earthshot Prize awards in
Mumbai on November 17, according to a joint Instagram announcement.
The video was shared on September 18 by the Earthshot Prize, Johar, and the
Prince and Princess of Wales.
In the clip, Johar gave viewers a preview of this year’s 15 finalists. Five
winners will be announced at the ceremony in November.
“Mumbai here we come!” the caption read. It introduced the finalists as people
from around the world working to solve some of the planet’s biggest
environmental problems.
The post also encouraged followers to learn more about the finalists ahead of
the awards night, where their work will be celebrated.
Fans welcomed the announcement in the comments. One wrote, “Can’t wait,” while

Prince William founded the Earthshot Prize in 2020 to support solutions to
environmental challenges.
